Collar — measure the neck
Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck where the collar sits, snug against the fur.
Harness — measure the chest
Measure the girth around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.
Apply the two-finger rule
Add about 2-3 cm so two flat fingers fit under the collar. Snug but never tight.
Re-check regularly
Puppies grow fast and coats change with seasons — re-measure monthly and after grooming.
