How to measure
Measure your palm
Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your palm, at the knuckles, not including the thumb.
Use your dominant hand
It's usually slightly larger — size to it so both gloves fit.
Read the size
The measurement in inches is about your numeric glove size; S/M/L bands it.
Check the type
Boxing, golf and goalkeeper gloves size differently — see the type guides.
Measure your hand circumference for the right glove size.

Measure around your palm at the knuckles (not the thumb) on your dominant hand. The numeric glove size is about that measurement in inches; S/M/L bands group it. For length-sensitive gloves, also measure hand length from the wrist crease to the middle-finger tip. Some gloves don't use hand size at all — boxing gloves go by weight in ounces, goalkeeper gloves by a 1–11 scale — so always check the type's own method.
